AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION

.DISCUSSION...SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO DRIFT EAST
OVERNIGHT AND INTO THE MORNING. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR MOISTURE TO BEGIN
TO SURGE INTO THE AREA AHEAD OF OUR NEXT APPROACHING SYSTEM. HIGH
CLOUDS HAVE BEGUN TO MOVE INTO NORTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE CWFA.
THESE WILL CONTINUE TO DRIFT EAST THROUGH THE NIGHT...MAINLY
AFFECTING WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE CWFA BY SUNRISE.
ONLY MADE A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CURRENT FORECAST AS IT IS
PRETTY MUCH ON TRACK. ADJUSTED HOURLY TEMPS AND CLOUD COVER FOR
OBSERVATIONAL TRENDS. TEMPERATURES IN THE WEST WILL BE A BIT SLOWER
TO FALL WITH CLOUD COVER MOVING INTO THAT AREA. CURRENT FORECASTED
LOWS LOOK REASONABLE WITH A TEMPERATURE GRADIENT OF THE UPPER 30S
EAST TO UPPER 40 WEST. OVERALL...TONIGHT WILL BE PRETTY QUIET BEFORE
OUR NEXT STORM SYSTEM GIVES THE CWFA AN ACTIVE TUESDAY NIGHT. /14/

.AVIATION...VFR CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE NEXT 24
HOURS. MOST SITES WILL BE ABLE TO SEE PATCHY FOG IN THE MORNING
WHICH WILL CAUSE MVFR TO IFR CONDITIONS...MAINLY BETWEEN 09-15Z.
CLOUD COVER WILL BEGIN TO MOVE INTO WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION
OVERNIGHT. THESE WILL MOVE EAST AND LOWER THROUGH THE PERIOD AHEAD OF
OUR NEXT APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM. CONDITIONS WILL BEGIN TO
DETERIORATE ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA TOWARD THE END OF THE FORECAST
PERIOD. SITES IN THE WEST...MAINLY GLH AND GWO...CAN POSSIBLY BEGIN
SEEING SHRA BEGIN TO MOVE IN BETWEEN 00Z AND 06Z. /14/
